Multi-Retailer Price Comparison Platform
Shoppers compared prices by opening five retailer tabs and checking spreadsheets — no single place to see lowest price, history trends, or get alerted when a product drops.
We built a production-grade comparison experience where every product lists side-by-side retailer offers sorted by total price, with daily price history graphs, category filters, full-text search, and personal accounts for favorites and price-drop alerts.

The Challenge
Price comparison sites need large structured catalogs, accurate offer sorting, historical charts, and fast SEO-friendly pages — not a simple product grid with static prices.
Our Solution
A Next.js app with PostgreSQL and Prisma powering 1,000+ products, hierarchical categories, faceted filters, Recharts price history, JWT auth with favorites and alerts, plus SSR metadata, JSON-LD, and dynamic sitemaps for search visibility.
The Results
- 1,200+ products with multi-retailer comparison rows
- Price history graphs with 1M / 3M / All ranges
- 14 top-level categories with faceted browse & search
- Deals page — biggest drops vs recent highs
- User accounts — favorites & price-drop alerts
- SEO — SSR, JSON-LD, sitemap & OpenGraph
